tangible moments photography bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog.

This is the place where I'll post peeks from my sessions as an Edmonton Child and Baby Photographer and share random musings from my life as a mom to five of the most precious girls ever. So grab a coffee and enjoy. Come back and visit often. And of course, leave me a comment. I love receiving comments!

Update: I'm currently booking for Fall 2016.

I'm pleased to be part of one fabulous association NAPCP, accrediting professional photographers who choose to specialize in babies and children.

    Thanks for stopping by,

the tangible holiday giveaway with bibagogo | shop local

Call me a simpleton, but there’s a few things that my heart sing for joy.

  •  fresh ground fair trade coffee
  •  yummy wholesome food like ripe organic mangoes and a good thai coconut curry
  • giggles from my girls
  • comfy shoes (I love me a good fit of Keens!)

  • supporting local businesses

Jenifer from City and Baby wrote a blog post on the importance of shopping local, especially during the holidays (this initiative can be read  here).  Each week I’ll be featuring a company that is based from Edmonton and surrounding communities that offers truly awesome products for every family. And with each feature, there’ll be an opportunity to win some goodies! How fun rightt??

So without further ado, let me introduce you to Bibagogo! (In case you’ve been living in a cave these past few years, or just completely oblivious to the most fantastic bib ever.)

The bibagogo is father-inspired, couture designed, award-winnig feeding, craft, car and stroller snacking travel bib. The only Bib you need from baby to preschool. This bib is stain-resistant with hidden pockets containing a feeding spoon and two facecloths. It’s roll and go design and easy-wash, fast-drying materials are great for travel. The Bibagogo® is the perfect feeding bib and a stylish car seat and stroller snacking bib. Toddlers can also use this awesome easy-to-wash bib for arts & craft.

Go ahead. Get messy.

And we did.

With watermelon, cotton candy, rice cakes, blueberries, popcorn, paint, cupcakes, bingo dabbers, finger paint… you get the idea. (You can see some of the evidence here, here, here and oh also here.)

So following this introduction, it begs the question “HOW do I get one of these gems???”  Well you can hit up a local retailer, or browse some online sources (who are originating in Edmonton, so you are still supporting local).

Included in this list of online retailers:

Hi! I’ve got a great family run business for you to check out! It’s called First Choice Tree Nursery & Garden Centre, and they ate just east of Morinville! They have a fantastic Christmas gift shop, with one of a kind finds for the whole family! Also, tomorrow night, they’re showing on outdoor movie in their winter wonderland! Check out their website for more info! They also love to support local groups, so it could work well for everyone involved!

Thank you everyone for participating! Love hearing what people are first attracted to. Maureen’s photography of the bibagogos truly captures the ‘heart & soul’ of the product. We so appreciate her love to let the children be natural and true to their personality. There is no coaxing but real capturing of great moments! Congratuations to Maureen! Thank you to all for commenting, blogging and support local businesses and products. Cheers and messy hugs! Catherine & Kathleen of Bibagogo.
