tangible moments photography bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog.

This is the place where I'll post peeks from my sessions as an Edmonton Child and Baby Photographer and share random musings from my life as a mom to five of the most precious girls ever. So grab a coffee and enjoy. Come back and visit often. And of course, leave me a comment. I love receiving comments!

Update: I'm currently booking for Fall 2016.

I'm pleased to be part of one fabulous association NAPCP, accrediting professional photographers who choose to specialize in babies and children.

    Thanks for stopping by,

Blossoms and more blossoms | Edmonton Child and Baby Photographer

Whew! What a day! Thank you to Leanna and all your wonderful family for putting on such an awesome event! And of course, a huge thank you to Kim and Aaron for hosting the day. You made us all feel right at home and I loved your house for all the multitude of options for taking the photos.

Yes, I also have an announcement to make.

The first place winner for the Tangible Moments Little Blossom Contest is McKenna H! CONGRATULATIONS!!

A big hug of congrats also goes out to Marie and Ava who have also won a photo shoot on June 27th! All three of you will have an opportunity to model some little blossom flowers and accessories in a shoot by Tangible Moments. But we’re not done yet!! We also have a gift for you from Sanriela’s Children’s Boutique, Adorable Baby and Baby Marketplace (our fantastic sponsors for the Little Blossom Model Call). You will receive an email very soon with all the details.

I don’t like to leave anyone out so I will be sending out a special offer for all the little blossoms that entered our contest!

And here’s a little tidbit into our spectacular afternoon. These are just the beginning! Make sure you check in this week for more sneak peeks from the super fun Little Blossom model sessions. Enjoy!

The pics from the weekend are fantastic!! perfect choices on the children!!! however I have to say I find the pic with the little girl in the pink butterfly outfit and no top on not very appropriate. I think it would have been more tasteful and SAFER to have a cute little top on.

Thanks for your comments Melissa. I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t like that one particular photo. I am unsure of what ‘safer’ is referring to.
Every session is a collaboration so that we can create images that each family can treasure. This mom didn’t mind her baby daughter being topless and I’m very careful to ensure that all decisions surrounding the photo session are good with each and every mom (and dad).
Thanks again for your feedback. 🙂

Tangible Moments…I must say your photos are truly gorgeous! The poses, or lack thereof, lighting and colors are magnificent! All of your little models are beautiful and you capture the pure essence and freedom of babyhood and childhood! Well done and if I am ever in the area, book me in.

AHHHH! sooo cute! but i don’t know Mau… i think Ryan could look really cute as a butterfly! 🙂 remember bugs life… just because i am a Lady Bug, doesn’t mean i am a Lady!

What a great job on the contest and on the photos. They are gorgoeus! YOu really have a beautiful way of capturing an image without it seeming forced or posed. Beautiful! In regards to the little girl with no top – I think it is completely up to the parents, this photo is for them and I assume they were fully aware of what she was wearing for the photo. One of the best things about being a kid is being able to run around naked and it not be judged! Love it. I wonder if the safe comment meant in regards to the predators out there who surf the internet and steal photos…? I think it is very tasteful. great job!

You definitely captured what it means to be a carefree little girl. The photos are fabulous. Thanks for the sneak peek. I can’t wait to see all of the pictures.
It was so wonderful to meet everyone on Sunday.

Indeed, all of these are “tangible moments” Mau…

You have truly captured the most natural image of each little ones..nothing artificial..only sweetness and innocence =)

(Can’t wait as well for the group photos..you were bouncing around and had to climb the steps for those)

After cleaning up we found a green and purple Avent sippy cup, a blue and red Gerber sippy cup, and a pink bunny on a clip. If any of these belong to you, please let me know. Also, did anyone accidentally pick up a yellow duck “pacimal” stuffed animal? My address is kimjf@telus.net.
